Meet Lauren McCarran: Artist, Newlywed & Muse for our Casual Cream Short Romper

Hey everyone, Chrissy here! Happy New Year! I'm thrilled to continue our Trendy Features and highlight another dear friend of ours, Lauren McCarran aka Lo.

Originally from Connecticut, (shoutout to all our east coast peeps!), she's a full time artist and blogger based in Los Angeles, well, on the prettier side, Malibu.

Just like Whitney Wiley, (our first Trendy Rompers Feature who we named the Whitney Romper after), I first met Lo when we used to work together at the same typical 9-5 job. Yep, we all worked together and then became close friends! Sometimes that's the only reason I believe the universe will bring people together in certain circumstances to introduce us to new lifelong friends.

Lo is one of the most ambitious and creative people I know. She's full of so many ideas and goals it's hard not to be inspired by her in some way or another. She creates the most beautiful paintings in both oils and watercolors, totally owns her own sense of laid back Malibu free-livin' style, always has the quickest clap-backs and witty responses and even makes the most delicious cakes. Every time we hang out, I'm always inspired by not just her creative talent, but also love getting lost in deep convos about random things for hours.

We named the Lo Seashell Off-the-Shoulder Romper after her because #1, she's a total beach babe and #2, this romper is a total reflection of her personality - a little sweet and sassy, fun and flirty. The best combo.
